AI Product Description Generator
A product description has two jobs that pull against each other: satisfy the marketplace's structural requirements, and persuade a human who is deciding in about four seconds. Copy written for one usually fails the other.
Generate a description written to the destination's actual rules — its character limits, its formatting, and what its search engine indexes.

AI Product Description Generator: what actually matters
The description is not the same field everywhere
On Amazon it sits below the fold and competes with A+ content. On Shopify it is the page Google indexes, so it carries the SEO weight. On Etsy it barely affects search at all and exists to convert someone already on the page. On eBay it is largely superseded by item specifics. Writing one description and pasting it into all four means writing for none of them.
Manufacturer copy is duplicate content
Pasting the supplier's description is the fastest way to publish a page that cannot rank, because several hundred other sellers have pasted the same paragraphs. On Shopify, where you are ranking in Google rather than in a marketplace, this is close to fatal — Google has no reason to prefer your copy of the text over anyone else's.
Thin descriptions lose to structured ones
Two sentences and a bullet list is not a description. The fields that convert are the ones answering what the buyer would otherwise have to ask: dimensions, materials, what is in the box, what it fits, and what it explicitly is not. Most negative reviews are answers that should have been in the description.
Where the description sits in the wider listing
The title carries the search terms, the bullets carry the scannable claims, the backend field carries the synonyms, and the description carries the detail that closes the sale. A description repeating the bullets adds nothing; a description answering what the bullets left out adds a conversion.
FAQ
Common questions
Does this publish the description to my marketplace account?
No. ListIQ Pro generates the listing and you paste it into the marketplace's own form. Direct publishing is in development and is not available today.
What does it cost?
A listing costs one credit per marketplace, so the same product generated for three marketplaces costs three credits. The free plan includes 10 credits a month and needs no payment card.
Can I regenerate just the description?
Yes, though regenerating a single field costs a full credit rather than a fraction of one. It is usually cheaper to regenerate the whole listing than to iterate field by field.
How long is the generated output kept?
A daily purge clears generated listings, images and video on every plan including paid ones — in practice output is gone within about 48 hours. ListIQ Pro is a generator, not a library, so download or paste your output as soon as you have it.
